I obtained my associate's degree at the College of Southern Nevada and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a concentration in social media at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, I gained a minor in communications. During my time at UNLV, I served as secretary of Lambda Pi Eta otherwise known as the National Communication Association’s official honor society.

My experience ranges back to when I first began writing professionally at Southern Utah University. I served as the opinion editor while dabbling in photography, radio, and graphic design. I then transferred back to my hometown of Las Vegas where I finished out my undergraduate education.

I also interned with Rebel Media Group which managed marketing and social media for various clients. I am grateful for the experience I gathered during my internship as I learned effective management skills for social media campaigns and affiliated accounts. On the side, I worked with UNLV-TV where I had the freedom to develop news and entertainment productions. During this time I fell in love with content creation and was very passionate about delivering quality content. Since graduation, I have used my knowledge to secure a position as a social media manager.

My daily duties include but are not limited to:

• Launching digital marketing campaigns and using paid advertising to target key audiences.

• Monitoring social media accounts and engaging with audiences as a community manager.

• Researching, writing, and editing blogs using focus keywords for peak SEO.

• Leading photoshoots, creating graphics, editing videos, and organizing content calendars.

In closing, I have over 5 years of content creation experience and 3 years of professional digital marketing experience. I look forward to using my skillset to serve growing businesses.
